Landsdale Farm School is an Education Support School of the West Australian Department of Education. We have been developed for students with disabilities as the main focus. The site, including bathrooms, all buildings and animals, is accessible for wheelchair users.

Landsdale Farm School Incorporated has developed the site (over $4 M) through fund raising and grant applications. This group has now become the Landsdale Farm School Council in line with requirements of the “Education Act 1999”.

The aim of the farm is to provide a welcoming educational rural environment for people to view plants and animals and gain an appreciation of living things. The environment evokes a feeling of tranquility and well being.

The facilities are extensive and include:

  • an organic vegetable and herb garden
  • a garden pavilion
  • a small select orchard
  • animal compounds including parrots, ducks, chickens, geese, goats, rabbits, sheep, ponies, cows, alpacas, turkeys, donkeys, miniature donkeys and miniature pigs
